Situation

St Mary's Platt is a thriving village on the outskirts of Borough Green. It has a nineteenth century Church, a primary school and a local pub. Pigeons Green is an exceptional period property, believed to have originated in the 16th Century. Listed Grade II by English Heritage, the property was considerably damaged by a World War II bomb and it is believed that the house was effectively rebuilt, explaining why the rooms enjoy such unusually good ceiling heights for a house of this age. Directions

From Sevenoaks follow the A25 East through Seal, passing over one roundabout and continuing into Borough Green. At the mini roundabout fork right and continue for just under 1 mile to St Mary's Platt and then turn right into Long Mill Lane by the memorial hall. Continue on this road, passing the church on your left. The road continues onto Comp Lane. After about 400 yards fork right onto Boneashe Lane. At the green bear right and the driveway to Pigeons Green is straight ahead.
