The village is well placed for access to the A45 that links the M1 at Junction 15 to the A14 (M6/M1 to the A1 link road). Stations at Wellingborough and Bedford have services to St Pancras and The City. From Northampton take the A45 towards Wellingborough. Pass the exit to Earls Barton and take the next exit signed to Podington. Turn left at the T-junction and proceed towards Great Doddington. On entering the village turn right into Hardwater Road signed to Wollston. On the edge of Wollaston, at the roundabout at the junction with the A509, proceed straight over and continue through the village following signs for Irchester.
