SITUATION

Coombe Road is a private, no-through road in the village of Otford, on the outskirts of Sevenoaks. It is popular amongst families and commuters as it boasts its own mainline railway station (within just a short walk of the property with services to London Victoria from about 35 mins), primary school and two popular preparatory schools - Russell House and St Michaels. The village itself is charming with many picturesque period properties along its High Street and around the village pond. There is a good selection of shops and facilities in the village, including a pharmacy, post office, convenience store, pubs and boutiques, in addition to the Sainsburys supermarket between Otford and Sevenoaks and the broader array of shops and facilities offered by Sevenoaks itself.

Sevenoaks station (about 4.2 miles) offers alternative rail services to Cannon Street from about 35 mins.

In addition to the schools in Otford, Sevenoaks and other nearby villages offer several options for primary, public and private schools. There are grammar schools in nearby Tonbridge and Tunbridge Wells.

DIRECTIONS

From the M25, take junction 4 towards Orpington. Having taken the A21 exit toward Bromley at the first roundabout, take the first exit at the second roundabout (A224 towards Dunton Green). Continue for about 2.8 miles, over one roundabout, before turning left towards Otford (crossing over the motorway) and then left again onto Pilgrims Way West. Follow this road for about 1.5 miles into Otford village. At the village pond continue straight ahead onto the A225 towards Farningham. Continue past the station on the right and, as the road bends sharply to the left, take the second right-hand turning into Coombe Road. The Stables is the second house on the left-hand side.

From Sevenoaks High Street proceed North on the A225 for 3 miles to Otford. At the village pond follow the road around the pond and then continue straight on the A225 towards Farningham. Continue as above.
