Chelsea - London miniguides

Formerly its own borough until 1965, Chelsea now forms a part of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and is one of the most sought after areas to live in London. Home to many famous residents, whether they are leading lights in their chosen industry, stars of the screen, aristocrats or politicians, the area offers an extremely diverse selection of shops, supermarkets, restaurants, cinema’s, theatres and other facilities. Conveniently situated with easy access to the M25, M3 and M4 as well as the Battersea Heliport, Chelsea is home to a huge range of boutiques, café’s and bars that will appeal to all ages and types.

The property market in Chelsea and the surrounding areas has historically remained very strong due to the pull of the wealth of attractions in the borough coupled with the range of good schools, facilities offered and ease of access to Knightsbridge, the open spaces of Hyde Park and Battersea Park, the West End and beyond to the City via the underground stations at Sloane Square, Knightsbridge and South Kensington.
