Famous beauty spots include Leith Hill, which at 1,000 feet above sea level is the highest point in the SE. The Surrey Hills is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty much admired for many villages including Abinger, Holmbury St Mary and Shere.

Reigate is highly regarded especially for easy access to the M25 and proximity to Gatwick Airport and Gatwick Express to London (every 15 minutes). There are excellent shopping facilities and, like Dorking, it retains a delightful market town atmosphere.
