An atmospheric detached cottage, set at the end of a drive, within a private mainly walled garden with swimming pool and views across the village and Pillhill Brook meadows The charming and picturesque village of Amport lies on the course of the Pillhill Brook, along which are a variety of pretty north west Hampshire villages. Amport is highly regarded due to its infant school, its gastro pub, The Hawk Inn, church, and the wide open spaces of the village green with children's play area. The village lies in the triangle between Andover, Salisbury and Winchester, and is well placed for excellent communications including the A303 which links with the M3 at J8, as well as connecting with the A34, linking the Midlands with the South Coast at Bullington Cross. Andover (4 miles) offers a range of shops and facilities, and a mainline railway station with services to London Waterloo. The cottage is located in a unique setting, set well back from the road at the end of a drive on high ground. There are far reaching views over the village, surrounding countryside and the Pillhill Brook and its meadows beyond. The cottage, which has been much cherished by the current owners, has considerable charm, yet has many modern features including LED lighting, hand crafted oak ledge and brace doors, and a new contemporary cloakroom. A concealed and attractive porch leads into the reception hall. Off the hall is an L-shaped kitchen, well equipped with a range of floor and wall units.
