From the centre of Cretingham (Cretingham Bell Pub), proceed towards Brandeston, taking the first right hand turning (Friday Street). Continue for approximately 1 mile, where the road bends 90 degrees to the right at the brow of the hill. The entrance will be found on the left hand side. If approaching from Hoo Corner, follow the lane for approximately 3/4 mile and at the top of the hill, turn right at the small grass triangle. Proceed down the hill, then up the hill beyond Monewden Hall, and where the road turns through 90 degree to the left, the entrance to Pegways will be found on the right-hand side. Proceed as above.
