The area is well-known for a number of beautiful Cornish gardens including Heligan, Trewithen and Tregrehan. There are Golf courses at Carlyon Bay, Lostwithiel and Truro, sailing at Fowey and hunting with the Fourburrow. For the game fisherman the rivers Camel, Fowey, de Lank, Lynher and Tamar are all within easy reach. A network of footpaths provides wonderful scenic walks and includes the Saints Way and coast path
