Eurovision comes to Liverpool!

It’s the hottest ticket around, but if you haven’t managed to secure some there are so many wonderful events taking place from now onwards to mark Liverpool’s hosting of this much-loved event. Expect a rainbow of colour and culture, as countries from across the Commonwealth battle it out to be crowned Eurovision winners 2023.

Euro Festival began in earnest on Monday 1st May and continues to bring the music, merriment and good times to Liverpool until Sunday 14th May, when there may be a few sore heads from all the partying! Expect the city to be transformed!

While the Eurovision grand final takes place on Saturday 13th May, you can take part in events across the city for an extended period. The festival will see 24 brand new commissions, with 19 collaborations between the UK and Ukrainian artists in celebration of the country’s stunning win at last year’s Eurovision final.

The festival will present 24 brand new commissions - 19 of which are collaborations between UK and Ukrainian artists – that will transform the city as fans from across the world descend on Liverpool.

EuroFestival is an exciting, thought-provoking programme of art and culture that matters and much of the programme is free. From insightful words about the struggles Ukrainian people are facing keeping their loved ones safe as well as their culture, The Big Eurovision Read where you are invited to choose a book and pull up a chair across venues in the city, the spirit of Eurovision celebrated at Tate Liverpool, a blue and yellow submarine parade, Rave Ukraine, English National Opera does Eurovision to A Place of Hope – a celebration of Ukraine.
