A traditional online auction, where the exchange of contracts occurs online, immediately at the end of the specified time period. If you are the successful bidder, you will be legally obliged to complete the purchase of the property. The auction operates in much the same way as if you were buying in a live auction room, but it’s online. Properties that are available for sale by this method are marked as a “Traditional”.
A conditional online auction, which, if you are the successful bidder, provides you with 20 working days from the end of the specified time period to exchange contracts. During the 20 working day reservation period, the seller is not able to accept other offers. Properties that are available for sale by this method are marked as a “Conditional”.

You can view listings, download legal documents and place bids from home. In a traditional auction, the sale is legally binding when the timer hits “SOLD.” In a conditional auction, you have 20 working days to exchange contracts. To bid with Jackson-Stops, you need to register on our auction platform. Once registered and verified, you can access property details and legal packs and place bids online. Anti-Money Laundering checks are completed during registration.
Jackson-Stops does not charge hidden fees to bid. Any costs, such as deposits or legal fees, are outlined in the property listing and legal pack. These are payable if you are the successful bidder.

For traditional auctions, contracts are exchanged immediately once the timer ends. For conditional auctions, Jackson-Stops gives you 20 working days to exchange contracts, during which the seller cannot accept other offers.
