Buying with pets
We never forget how much people love their pets and what an important part of homelife they can be. If you’re looking for a home to buy we can tailor your search to suit your pet-loving requirements: perhaps you’re looking for somewhere with a garden for your dog to run around in, or maybe for a location with stunning walks nearby; maybe you have cats and need to be on the ground floor of an apartment block. Renting with pets
It’s true that some Landlords do not allow pets into their rental properties, but we find that many are happy to welcome well-behaved, house-trained animals, depending on the style or location of the home. Each tenancy is different and we are always happy to explain whether or not a property is suitable. In almost all cases of tenancies undertaken with pets, we include a clause in the tenancy agreement to ensure that any damages made are put right at the end of the rental. All our rental agreements require that a professional clean is carried out at the end of the tenancy and this can include a professional steam clean of carpets throughout the property.
Finally, whilst we do take references for every human tenant, we have yet to be asked to undertake character references for pets, though of course that could change - here’s hoping your pet is of upstanding, moral character so as not to scupper the deal!
