Following the UK Government’s amendment to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) regulations, we are pleased that viewings on residential properties may now take place for both sales and lettings. The new Government home moving guidance recommends sensible precautions to protect you, homeowners, and our staff during physical viewings and it is vitally important that we all adhere to these Government guidelines. We have put in place the following protocols for all viewings, which we will discuss with you prior to any appointments:

All viewings will be by prior appointment and only involve the maximum of two adults from a single household, accompanied by one agent

Prior to any physical viewings taking place we encourage you to fully study the particulars and audio visual tour, check that the property suits your requirements and that you have a strong interest in it

Ahead of any viewings we will conduct a health check of all parties, asking for confirmation that no one has presented any symptoms associated with COVID-19 in the last 7 days. The viewing will be postponed if anyone has shown symptoms or is self-isolating. This medical information is required by government guidelines and will be destroyed once the viewing is completed.

Prior to the appointment please wash your hands thoroughly.

Please bring with you your own hand sanitiser for use on entry and exit and be wearing a face covering and gloves. Jackson-Stops staff will follow the same procedure.

All parties must follow the 2-metre social distancing rules during the viewing

You should avoid touching any surfaces or door handles during the viewing

We will limit the time spent viewing the property and hold discussions outside where possible to avoid lingering inside.

Once the viewing has taken place, please ensure you dispose of your PPE correctly and wash/sanitise your hands
