Period property sales in Somerset

From gorgeous Georgian and elegant Edwardian to medieval masterpieces and lovely listed properties, Somerset is home to a wide selection of the most exquisite period property, and we have been entrusted to sell many such properties since we opened our Somerset doors in 1997.

Jackson-Stops has been selling perfect period homes since it was established in 1901, most notably the sale of Stowe House in 1921 - 19-day event sale and auction under Duke of Buckingham’s instructions, and we’ve been carrying on the tradition of estate agent of choice when it comes to marketing beautiful period gems.

Period homes have shaped the British perception of the typical features and structural quality an ideal home should have, and we have some fine examples of period property that we have recently sold or that are under offer.

If you are considering the sale of your period home, we’d be delighted to speak with you about our experience with this style of property, our UK-wide database of clients looking for a new character home and our excellent marketing capabilities.
