While we market every property we sell, not all make it onto the property portals, with some listing only on our website and others receiving - at the seller's request - little online marketing.
Off market sales occur when the vendor has decided not to market to the general public and this could be for a variety of reasons. Privacy is important for many of our clients and so they are not comfortable with their property details being in the public domain. This means we work with them to market their homes discreetly to our database of active buyers rather than adding them to property portals.
They may be putting a toe in the water in terms of the price, or they may still be looking for their next home and so not fully ready to move...perhaps looking for someone who loves their property and is willing to wait in order to buy it.
