Bowdon million pound property for sale

Bowdon million pound property

Here at Jackson-Stops Hale we are renowned for dealing in the million pound plus property market. Recent statistics from Rightmove show that Jackson-Stops has agreed over double the number of sales over £1.25 million in WA14 and WA15 over the last 12 months than any other agent!

Perhaps unfairly we are lesser known in dealing with the sub million sector and have recently successfully sold a number of properties by creating a vibrant buzz about our marketing including professional photo shoots, clear and concise brochures, audio tours and extensive emarketing via a number of property portals and social media platforms.

Here we feature some of our million pound property for sale in this Cheshire hotspot...

Bowdon is regarded as one of the wealthiest areas of Greater Manchester along with Hale and Hale Barns, and similarly wealthy to Cheshire Golden Triangle towns Wilmslow, Alderley Edge and Prestbury. These towns and the area between them contain some of the most expensive properties in England outside London.

The name Bowdon came from Anglo-Saxon Boga-dūn = "bow (weapon)-hill" or "curved hill" and is a historic part of England which was mentioned in the Doomsday book.

It is a leafy suburb characterised by it’s mix of handsome period villas and imposing new residences. It is a highly coveted area due to it’s proximity to Hale and Altrincham town centres and their easy transport links into Manchester.

Bowdon also boasts many outstanding state and private schools with some of the country’s best state grammar schools lying within Bowdon and Hale. This makes Bowdon a very popular place for families and keeps property prices at a premium.
