Over the years, Jackson-Stops Dorking has been involved in many charitable and sponsorship activities in the local area and our latest collaboration is with Dorking Lawn Tennis & Squash Club. We are delighted to have become the Club’s main sponsor and excited to be working together.
Our local community matters to us and so we get involved wherever possible with local organsations small and large including being a sponsor of Dorking Rugby Club and supporting various local events and fairs throughout the year.
We are now proud sponsors of Dorking Lawn Tennis & Squash Club and we were initiated into the world of local tennis with a training day kindly laid on for us by the club.
As you can see from the photographs, all members of the Dorking team took part enthusiastically, donning their finest Jackson-Stops sports gear and putting in their best efforts. We were ably trained on the day by top tennis coach Brian Love and were put through our paces with a series of energetic activities.
Located on Ridgeway Road, Dorking, the club is open to members and non members from the under fives upwards and classes are available for all age groups. Its nine artificial clay outdoor courts, four floodlit, give members and non members ample opportunity to finesse their forehand or better their backhand and courts are open Monday to Saturday until 9.30pm.
Players can come along and test their tennis skills socially, improve their general fitness levels or can join a team, competing against local rivals and those from further afield.
The social side of the club is a top priority, with a packed schedule of events to encourage players at every level and to allow them to get to know fellow members. There's a comfortable club bar where members can relax with a glass of wine or a coffee and enjoy a snack. The clubhouse has a large screen television, free Wi-Fi and table tennis and is the perfect venue for private functions.
Squash players and those wishing to give the sport a try, can take advantage of the fantastic facilities and access to many club tournaments and monthly box leagues.

As well as our new sponsorship of Dorking Lawn Tennis & Squash Club, we're currently sponsoring Dorking Rugby Club and you may have seen our logo on the players' shirts. We've also sponsored a large number of local school fetes, fairs and open days.
