Our online platform runs 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Properties can be listed at any time, avoiding the need to wait for a specified auction date. Buyers can search, download legal documents and place bids online from the comfort of their own home (subject to registration and Anti Money Laundering checks). A legally binding commitment to purchase occurs when the timer changes to "SOLD".
All auction properties are marketed in the usual way, taking advantage of Jackson-Stops' national network of over 40 offices, including central London; our national advertising in The Sunday Times, Saturday Telegraph and Country Life; our popular website; promotion through Rightmove, Zoopla, PrimeLocation and OnTheMarket; our Social Media channels and our database of active buyers and investors. Properties are also marketed through Bamboo Auctions, who provide our auction platform.
J-S Auctions offers two methods of sale by auction:
1. A traditional online auction, where exchange of contracts occurs online, immediately at the end of the specified time period. If you are the successful bidder, you will be legally obliged to complete the purchase of the property. The auction operates in much the same way as if you were buying in a live auction room, but it’s online. Properties that are available for sale by this method are marked as a “Traditional”.

2. A conditional online auction, which, if you are the successful bidder, provides you with 20 working days from the end of the specified time period to exchange contracts. During the 20 working day reservation period, the seller is not able to accept other offers. Properties that are available for sale by this method are marked as a “Conditional”.
