THE PROPERTY

Occupying a cul-de-sac location, a well-designed and extended four bedroom end-of-terrace house within half a mile of Bosham Harbour.

Originally constructed in 1970, the house has been subsequently extended utilising the double width plot.

The good sized accommodation includes a particularly spacious family room adjacent to the re-fitted kitchen, with a separate sitting room, study and downstairs cloakroom completing the ground floor.

The first floor has been well-designed and extended providing an excellent size main bedroom with en-suite, and three further bedrooms are served by a family bathroom.

Outside, the house has a wider than usual plot with an excellent degree of privacy and is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac. Westward Close has unrestricted parking and is within easy walking distance of the harbour, village centre and sailing club.

Bosham is perhaps the prettiest of villages on Chichester Harbour and one of the premier centres for sailing on the south coast with a ready supply of moorings and a thriving sailing club which hosts one of the largest fleets of classic day boats in the country. The village has an interesting history with the chancel of its Saxon church featuring in the Bayeux Tapestry and also having a claim as being the location where King Canute tried to hold back the rising tide. The village has an active local community with a primary school, two pubs and a very popular hotel/restaurant, tea rooms and an arts and crafts centre. A little further to the north is a well-stocked farm shop, sub post office and medical centre. Sailing is the premier past time in the immediate area but other recreational activities are well catered for. Golf courses can be found at Goodwood, Fontwell and Hunston. West Wittering can be found within approximately 10 miles and has stunning blue flag beaches and the National Trust Reserve at East Head. Bosham village has its own railway halt providing a connection to either Chichester or Havant both of which provide regular services to London Victoria and Waterloo respectively.
