Galleon House is believed to have been built around 1702 and is located in the heart of this immensely popular sailing village and offers deceptively spacious accommodation of great character with harbour views from two first floor bedrooms. Bosham of course has its own sailing club and others can be found in Itchenor, Dell Quay, Chichester Marina and Emsworth. The estuaries and channels of Chichester Harbour provide one of the most picturesque sailing environments within easy reach of London and are ideal for dinghy sailing or day boats. As the main channel reaches the sea it passes the famous National Trust Reserve of East Head with its sandy blue flag beaches at West Wittering.
